Tian Ti Gorge was formerly known as "Houguanmen" and "Yinniuxia". Li Bai said in " The difficult road of Shu" that "the landslide mountain destroyed the dead, and then the ladder stone stacks were linked." So since ancient times has called the plank road the heaven ladder said. In order to further develop the tourism resources of Jianmenguan Scenic Area, the plank road ladder and high-altitude zipline connecting the two cliffs were built here, so it was renamed as " Tian Ti Gorge”.

Above the cliff on the right is Jianmenguan Main Peak, also called Yingpanzui. After the Red Army conquered Jianmen Pass in 1935, the headquarters of Yang Zhuoyun, the head of the Kuomintang army in Jianmen Pass, was also set up here. After the defeat, Yang zhuoyun and his five w brothers jumped off the cliff from above and died.

Here you can enjoy the natural scenery of "Jianmen Tianxian", walk on the ladder and feel the danger of the cliff. Climbing up, you can also pay tribute to the ancient war.
